Every scan happens in our own building. Nothing is sent to a third party, which is why we can tell you where your film is at any point and why the queue we quote is genuinely ours rather than someone else’s.

Why the boring parts matter
More than 125,000 reels of film have been through this lab without losing a single item. That number is the one we are proudest of, and it comes from unglamorous discipline: logging every item at intake, handling by hand, tracking under chain of custody, and returning originals in the same shipment as the files.
Film is not reprintable. There is no second copy of your grandmother’s wedding. That fact shapes everything about how the lab runs.
